Allyson is a PhD candidate within the Urban Develoment and Mobility department at LISER, which she joined in 2025. Her project, Restorative Environments and Chronic Stress: a Space-Time Analysis of Regular Exposure and Activity Patterns, investigates how characteristics of the urban environment relate to chronic stress, with a focus on exposure patterns and social inequalities. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Health and Wellbeing Science from the University of Minnesota–Twin Cities and a Master's degree in Epidemiology from the University of Antwerp. Her research interests include social determinants of health, chronic disease, and health equity.
