Research summary
Anisa Fauzi Ratnasari joined LISER in 2024 as a PhD Candidate within the Urban Development & Mobility Department. In her thesis, she will examine whether unintended consequences, such as increased travel or suburbanisation, offset the benefits of telework. Anisa’s research is funded by the Luxembourg National Research Fund (FNR) under the AFR Individual Scheme. Her thesis supervision committee is composed of Dr. Veronique Van Acker and Dr. Philippe Gerber (LISER), Prof. Dr. Geoffrey Caruso (Université du Luxembourg), and Prof. Dr. Joachim Scheiner (Technische Universität Dortmund).
Anisa holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Universitas Islam Indonesia (Indonesia) and a Master’s degree in Transportation Sciences from Universiteit Hasselt (Belgium). Prior to her PhD, she gained experience in project management, research, and mentoring and was actively involved in education-focused initiatives in Indonesia.
