Axelle joined LISER in 2018 as Office Manager of the Living Conditions Department, supporting Department Director Eugenio Peluso in managing daily operations including communication, budget management, event organization, and liaising with the wider research and administrative teams.
Since 2020, she has also been part of the Project Management Office (PMO), supporting researchers across the institute in securing funding from the FNR and European Commission. Her role spans both pre-award and post-award phases, with a focus on funding strategy, eligibility guidance, budgeting, and project follow-up.
With a Master's degree in Multilingual Business Communication (UCLouvain, 2013) and a professional background in research environments – she previously worked at CORE, the Center for Operations Research and Econometrics as Communications Officer – Axelle brings a strong interest in social sciences, gender issues, and inequality to her work with the research community.
