Research summary

Guillaume holds a PhD in 2016 from the University of Grenoble and LISER in the frame of the AFR PhD grants where he studied the daily times management of cross-border workers facing chronic time pressures. From 2016 to 2020, Guillaume has been researcher at Urban Sociology Lab of Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Lausanne. During this experience, Guillaume has developed two research domains:

Rhythmology: which proposes to analyze contemporary societies from intensity and periodicity of human activities and time perception (e.g. mobility, daily afen, economic growth).

Cross-border commons: by developing an individual centered approach which reveals socio-spatial bridges across the border (attachment, identities, personal network, cross-border activities, cross-border past experiences)
