Research summary
Jerome Jakob is a PhD Candidate in the Urban Development and Mobility Department. He's working on the BOMIOTICS projects and investigates the discoursive meaning making of borders within the European Union. Within the project Jerome is working on the case of Frankfurt (Oder)-Slubice (DE-PL) and Luxembourg-France. His works focuses on the multimodal ways stakeholders in cross-border cooperation create narratives about the borderlands.
Jerome completed a Bachelor's degree in Sociology and Political Science at the University of Trier (DE), followed by a Master's degree in Media & Cultural Sociology at the University of Trier.
