Research summary

Nicolas HERCELIN is a PhD candidate in financial geography. He holds a Master's degree in Political Sciences from the Université Catholique de Louvain (UCL). After three in the private and associative sector, he started his PhD at the Luxembourg Institute of Socio-Economic Research (LISER) in August 2020, under the supervision of Dr. Sabine Dörry.

Nicolas is part of the AltFin project with seeks to better understand regional economic development at the interface of alternative economy approaches and sustainable finance. In its personal PhD project Nicolas seeks to create a novel analytical angle by combining insights from the sociology of finance and the study of the material basis of ecological transitions.
