Richa Maheshwari is a PhD Researcher at the Urban Development and Mobility Department of the Luxembourg Institute of Socio-Economic Research (LISER) since 2019. She is working on the “Happy Commuter: a life-oriented Approach of commuting SatisfactIOn” (CASInO) project which investigates the impact of the change of workplace on the satisfaction with the daily commute of employees. Additionally, the research seeks to explore the spillover effects of workplace relocation on different life domains of the workers.
Richa received her Bachelor’s degree in Urban Planning from CEPT University (India) and an MSc in Urban Planning and Management with a specialization in Transport Planning from the Faculty of ITC, University of Twente (the Netherlands). Prior to joining LISER, Richa worked for three months as a Student Researcher at Faculty of ITC, and two years as an Urban/Transport Planner at Vastu Shilpa Consultants (India).
