Research summary

Salvatore joined LISER in January 2023 as a PhD Candidate in the Labour Market Department. He is pursuing his doctorate within a cotutelle agreement between the University of Luxembourg (FHSE) and the University of Milan (DEMM), under the supervision of Prof. Christina Gathmann and Prof. Tommaso Frattini. His research interests lie at the intersection of political economy, the economics of migration, and economic history. Prior to joining LISER, he worked as a pre-doctoral researcher at UC3M (Carlos III University of Madrid).
