ICILS 2018 - International Computer and Information Literacy Study Luxembourg

Project Details

Description

The International Computer and Information Literacy Study (ICILS 2018) was conducted in 13 countries in 2018, including Luxembourg. ICILS data is collected by IEA (International Association for the Evaluation of Educational Assessment) as a large-scale study, representative for the population of pupils in grade 8 in all countries.
Part of this project, I am the National Research Coordinator (NRC) for Luxembourg and this implies performing tasks in collaboration with SCRIPT (MENJE) to sample, collect, analyze, and report on the study results for Luxembourg.
Research topics I am working on using the data ICILS 2018 are:
- Teacher and school role for students’ digital competences
- Teacher collaboration and teacher digital self-efficacy across schools
- Student ICT competences in the 21st century
- Student ICT competences – performance profiles and the role of teacher and school context
