Abstract

Aims of Net-SILC3 and policy context of the book
The aim of Net-SILC3 was to carry out in-depth methodological work and socioeconomic analysis of the EU-SILC data (covering both cross-sectional and longitudinal dimensions), and develop common tools and approaches regarding various aspects of data production for the whole European Statistical System.
The plans for the network built on a solid foundation of previous work (especially in the context of Net-SILC1 and 2) and sought to address various methodological and analytical questions that were
of particular importance at this stage of the maturation of EU-SILC (...)
The 26 Net-SILC3 research work packages were organised
around two thematic clusters.
