Abstract
The WinWin4WorkLife (WW4WL) project addresses the transformative impact of
remote work (RWA) across Europe, with a focus on its social, economic, and spatial
dimensions. While initially seen as a win-win for productivity, work-life balance, and
environmental sustainability, the rapid adoption of remote work—especially during and after the COVID-19 pandemic—has revealed complex challenges and inequalities. This policy brief outlines how WW4WL responds to these issues and provides a foundation for evidence-based policy development at EU and Member State levels.
