The HOUS Committee at the European Parliament invited me to deliver an expert talk at the workshop 'Housing for students and young people in training in the EU', together with two other experts: Joris Hoekstra (TU Delft; author of the study presented at the workshop) and Yvonne Franz (University of Vienna).

During my presentation, I provided insights into the trends in the provision of student housing, the related impacts, as well as critical reflections on current actions of the European Affordable Housing Plan and recommendations.

The workshop took place at the Brussels European Parliament on 4 June 2026 and was webstreamed. An engaging Q&A session with MEPs followed the three expert presentations.
