Description de l'impact
On 4 October 2024, POST Philately marked the 25th anniversary of the Luxembourg National Research Fund (FNR) by unveiling a commemorative stamp. Karolina was asked to share her image (thermal map of Luxembourg) generated during her research at LISER (previously, this image received an honorable mention in the Image Science Competition organised by FNR).The stamp design, a tribute to Luxembourg’s vibrant research community, features a selection of striking images submitted by local researchers during the FNR’s Science Image Competition. Each carefully chosen image reflects the diverse domains of research and serves to inspire and engage the public. The featured images include:
Top Left: A piece of bone | Photo: Felix Kleine Borgmann, Luxembourg Institute of Health (LIH)
