Intérêts de recherche
Marie Valentova is a research fellow at the Luxembourg Institute of Socio-Economic Research (LISER, formerly CEPS/INSTEAD). She holds PhD in Sociology from the Masaryk University and the Advanced Master in European Social Policy Analysis (MESPA) from the Tilburg University (NL) and the Bath University (UK). She is a member the Network of International Review of Leave Policies and Related Research. She also acted as a country member of the Expert’s Forum of the European Institute for Gender Equality (EIGE) and an independent expert in the Peer Review in Social Protection and Social Inclusion and Assessment in Social Inclusion. She has led and contributed to various externally funded research and policy-oriented projects, both at the EU as well as the national level. Her current research interests include: social policy analyses and evaluation, reconciliation of family and paid work, integration and perception of immigrants and social cohesion. Her research papers were published in leading international peer-reviewed journals such as: Journal of European Social Policy, Journal of Ethnic and Migration Studies, International Journal of Intercultural Relations, Ethnic and Racial Studies, Work Employment and Society, International Review of Sociology, Journal of International Migration and Integration, Social Indicators Research, Survey Research Methods, Journal of Social Policy etc.

Directly collaborating with EVS national representatives in 47 countries, GESIS Cologne, the Gallup Europe and the Tilburg university.
