Bridging Education and Industry: AI-Driven Curriculum Optimisation

Funded by LISER under the “Excellent Innovation Projects” call, AIDCO is a pilot study that capitalises on the potential of AI to bridge gaps between education and industry. Project addresses questions such as: How can educational programmes remain relevant in rapidly evolving fields like ICT? How do the skills acquired at different educational levels align with current and future labour market needs? By leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs) and knowledge graphs (KGs), the project aims to develop AI-driven tools that map and connect occupation-specific skills in education curricula with those in demand by industrial employers. AIDCO will deliver innovative solutions for curriculum optimisation, tackling skill shortages and ensuring that education systems continuously adapt to meet labour market demands, both in Luxembourg and globally.
