Comportement financier et de consommations des ménages résidants au Luxembourg

    Détails du projet

    Description

In collaboration with the Central Bank of Luxembourg (BCL), in 2018 LISER is conducting the Household Finance and Consumption Survey (HFCS) for the resident population of Luxembourg. This is the third wave of the HFCS Resident survey, which was also carried out in 2010 and 2014 under the statistical framework of the European Central Bank (ECB). The aim of the survey is to collect information on financial behaviour of the Luxembourg households such as consumption patterns, savings, and credit demand. The data obtained from the survey will allow decision-makers to understand the current situation of households and formulate policies to support households. The survey is conducted in parallel by the national central banks in all countries of the Euro Area. The results of the HFCS survey will feed both academic and policy-oriented research. The HFCS, which started in February 2018, is a face-to-face survey that will cover close to 8000 households in Luxembourg.
