Détails du projet

Description

The efficient smart charging management of fleets of electric buses is key in their successful deployment. This requires the development of accurate energy consumption models and optimised smart charging policies. We focus on the potential and the challenges of exploiting electric buses in supporting the electrical network and facilitating the grid integration of more renewable energy. The main idea is to study the interaction between bus operators and energy actors in a joint optimisation problem (maximising the renewable energy consumption, grid balancing for the energy actors / maximising the economic viability of e-buses fleets under mobility constraints). This project will develop a fully holistic and interdisciplinary approach. It will include explicitly the passengers' mobility needs with the power system needs.
