Monitoring and Assessing Company Law Transposition

The project will build on the ETUI/GoodCorp project 'National-Level Corporate Anti-Abuse Measures Relevant to the EU Company Law Package', for which a network of correspondents was developed to report on anti-abuse provisions in national law and practice relevant for the transposition of the two Directives of the Company Law Package, i.e. the Digital Tools and Processes Directive and the Cross-border Conversions, Mergers and Divisions Directive. These correspondents filled out a questionnaire on national laws and practices on issues such as checks on the identity of firm founders, beneficial owner registries, disqualification of persons from functioning as directors, etc
