Détails du projet
Description
The objective of this proposed INITIATE project is to investigate the feasibility at the Luxembourg scale of a future strategic programme associated with the concept of a “Nation-wide and privacy preservation digital twin” enabled by “responsible AI”.
In the Section 1 of this proposal, the idea is further developed together with an initial value proposition for the benefit of researchers, private and public bodies as well as key representatives of citizens and communities.
In the Section 2, we propose a workplan of activities associated with (i) the definition of a more precise perimeter of the idea, (ii) a systematic analysis of the strengths and weaknesses that characterize Luxembourg in terms of R&I taking into account socio-economic considerations and (iii) the outline of a coherent plan for the set-up of a future new programme.
Initiated by LIST, the nation-wide digital twin is supported by LISER and by the University of Luxembourg including SnT. Representatives from these institutions form the project team of this project. An advisory committee will be also set-up, including FNR, MECO, MESR, SMC, CNPD, Ministère de la Digitalisation, FEDIL and LIH (for also making the liaison with Clinnova). This committee may also be extended to include other relevant ministries (Ministry of Energy MEA, Ministry of Environment MECDD)
All the project activities will be managed in close relation with various national and local stakeholders who might be interested by the Nation-wide Digital Twin. We will also associate international experts as advisers in the initiative.
