Revolutionizing Independence: Enhancing Mobility, Well-Being, and Comfort for Visually Impaired Individuals through Autonomous Robotic Assistance

Détails du projet

Description

The mobility challenges faced by visually impaired individuals (VIIs) require urgent attention, as traditional guide dog solutions remain insufficient due to limited availability, lengthy training periods and challenging animal care for VIIs. This project aims to contribute toward creation of a fully autonomous robotic guide dog capable of understanding and navigating complex environments while offering tailored support through conversational interfaces, visual grounding, and visual question answering. By directly addressing the needs of VIIs, the project seeks to enhance inclusivity, mobility, and independence for this vulnerable population.
