Résumé

I was invited to present my work on hyper-commodified rental housing in the framework of the Workshop 'The Making of Niche Asset Classes' organised by Prof. Jana Kleibert, Anton Eplinius and Clara Hertz at the University of Hamburg. This workshop was part of the launch of the organisers' research project “Making Markets, Transforming Cities: The Rise of Purpose-Built Student Accommodation in Germany and the Netherlands”. Two other guest speakers were Manuel Aalbers (KU Leuven) and Charlotte Casier (ULB).
