Personal profile
Research summary
I am a Research Associate in the Living Conditions Department at the Luxembourg Institute of Socio-Economic Research (LISER) and actively contribute to the Health and Health Systems Programme. I am also a Global Labor Organisation fellow. Before joining LISER in 2021, I served as an Assistant Professor (without tenure) at the Faculty of Economics in Strasbourg, where I earned my PhD in 2019.
As a microeconomist, my research focuses on health, demography, family economics, and gender, with a particular interest in the socioeconomic effects of demographic changes. I study how population aging impacts individuals, families, and firms, with a special focus on informal care and its wider economic and social implications. Beyond aging, I examine the challenges faced by other vulnerable groups, such as people with disabilities, investigating how structural and environmental factors influence their daily well-being, access to resources, and overall quality of life. Through my work, I aim to contribute to policies that support these populations and promote more inclusive and sustainable social systems.
