Feasibility study for a RCT on vocational training in Senegal

Senegal is facing significant challenges when it comes to reducing unemployment, especially among women and youth. To address this challenge, vocational training (VT) programs can play a critical role in equipping individuals with the skills they need to enter the workforce. However, these programs have shown mixed results. One promising approach is to combine VT programs with other interventions that address specific obstacles that the population might encounter (such as taking care of children for women, or addressing mental health issues such as anxiety, lack of motivation, lower self-esteem, and fear of failure. Our seedling proposal is a feasibility study targeting a future RCT on these two types on intervention in Senegal.
