Description
The overall objective of the social policy network is to support the Commission with expertise and rigorous analysis of social protection and social inclusion policies and developments at national and European level and to support the exchange of social protection information between Member States. Therefore, the purpose of the contract deriving from this call for tender will be to establish, organise, manage and coordinate a European network of independent experts (hereafter referred as 'the network') in the field of social protection and social inclusion policies and systems. The network will be a tool to assist the European Commission in the development of evidence-based social policy initiatives at the EU level and in facilitating mutual learning and exchange of experience between the Member States, the candidate and potential candidate countries.
Moreover, the successful tenderer will have to provide ad hoc analysis and expertise also for selected third countries.
