Research summary
Uyen Nguyen is a Research Fellow in the department Labour Market at the Luxembourg Institute of Socio-Economic Research (LISER, formerly CEPS/INSTEAD). She holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Strasbourg (France). She hold positions of lecturer at the University of Strasbourg (France), University of Metz (France) and University of Luxembourg.
Her current research interests include: Personnel and Behavioural Economics (motivations, human resources management practices, well-being, work attitudes); Labour economics (employment, active labour market policies, age/gender discrimination); Economics of innovation and management of innovation (technological innovation, organisational innovation, knowledge management). Her research papers were published in leading international peer-reviewed journals such as: Technological Forecasting and Social Change, Journal of Cleaner Production, Journal of Environmental and Planning Management, European Journal of Innovation Management, Applied Economics, Economics of Innovation and New Technology, International Journal of Technology Management.
She leads and contributes to various externally funded research and policy-oriented projects, both at the EU as well as the national level, which include issues such as employment of older workers in the labour market, digitalisation and telework, working time management plan.
